Children's Well-Being Foundation has student internship opportunities for those studying medicine, nursing, public health, education, and other disciplines. 

Working with us will give you an opportunity to: 

Improve the health and lives of children in Costa Rica, practice your Spanish and see one of the most beautiful and biodiverse places in Central America. 

Join us and work alongside staff and physicians at our medical clinics, both urban and remote. We provide primary care services, eye exams, and psychological services for children in desperate need. We are proud to offer training opportunities for future doctors who are encouraged to pursue medical volunteerism. 

Living with a trusted host family will give you an opportunity to learn about the customs and culture of Costa Rica as well as immerse yourself in the language.

We offer opportunities year-round and we work with each student to tailor a program that works best for their needs and interests. We customize programming and daily activities in order to provide the most enriching experience possible.
